Mike Sweet, Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Mike Sweet brings a broad set of business skills and a passion for reference and web technology to his role at the market-leading online reference company. He focuses on involving librarians and publishers in the discoverability and content usability discussion, leading to greater cooperation and innovation across the industry.
Before joining Credo Reference in 2006, Sweet served as both CFO and COO of CoreWeb, a web software development and consulting company. He also spent seven years as a new business development manager at Global Insight providing Fortune 500 companies with business planning tools for market segmentation analysis and strategy development. Mike holds a MBA from Babson College with an emphasis on finance and entrepreneurship.
John G. Dove, President
John G. Dove has extensive experience in technology businesses including electronic publishing and online education. In 1968 he joined a start up on Wall Street that produced the first end-user accessible online database of stock market information.
In the early 90s he was on the executive team of a Boston area consulting firm, Symmetrix, which was instrumental in building learning organizations and electronic performance support systems to back them up. Subsequently, he was president and COO of SilverPlatter, a supplier of electronic and online bibliographic information to research libraries worldwide.
In 2000, John was COO of GlobaLearn, a company that deployed investigative reporters and photographers to travel the world on behalf of (and wired into) social studies classrooms. GlobaLearn was purchased by an arm of Houghton-Mifflin. Immediately prior to joining Credo Reference in 2003, John worked with the Executive Education on E-Government project at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
Jill Rosa, Vice-President of Operations
Jill Rosa has a passion for utilizing her financial, operational, and people skills to help build successful companies. She has experience in multiple industries (banking, retail, and software development) working with public, private and start-up companies.
Jill joined Credo in 2004 as Director of Finance and Operations and since then has been instrumental in implementing several key initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and enhance customer service. Before starting at Credo Jill consulted for two woman-owned businesses that focused on ergonomic educational supplies for K-12 students and outdoor, street level advertising. Jill has a BS from Boston College with a focus on general management and philosophy and earned her MBA, with a focus on entrepreneurship, from Boston University.
Carol Helton, Vice-President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Carol Helton brings to Credo Reference an extensive background in the information and software industries, including 7 years at Wolters Kluwer, where she led sales efforts in three of its four health business units, and ultimately served as Vice President of Sales, Clinical Solutions. She has also held executive level sales positions at MEDecision and most recently at ZeOmega.
Charles Griswold, Vice-President of Product Development and innovation
Charles Griswold has thirty plus years experience covering software development, management consulting, IT organizational development, and web deployment and optimization. His industry experience encompasses insurance, healthcare, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Griswold has specific expertise in the management of complex data including modeling, taxonomies, and expert collaboration tools.
Prior to joining Credo Reference, Mr. Griswold was Senior Manager with Accenture Interactive, and previously with Digitas as Vice President / Group Director. Mr. Griswold is also the founder of LogixPartners, a software and consulting company focused on the healthcare insurance market.
