Our Platform

Best-in-class technology

The value of Credo Reference lies in not only the high caliber of our thoughtfully selected content but also in the innovative platform through which users can explore, discover and be inspired. In the fall of 2008 Credo Reference launched a new platform, raising the bar on the delivery of online reference content.

Credo’s enhanced search results enable users to narrow and focus their search, and users can easily continue their search in other library resources such as the library catalog and periodical databases. Credo's related entries provide millions of cross references that connect the content across title and publisher, providing even more avenues for discovery.

The Credo Reference interface is highly customizable. Libraries have the flexibility to: select the default search screen from any of the four search options (Basic, Advanced, Find a Book, Concept Map), add library logos for library branding, add menu links to any three library-selected web sites, as well as include Ask-a-Librarian services on the interface.
