Authentication Options

You have a number of options for connecting to Credo Reference. Most libraries use IP authentication for offering access to Credo Reference within an institution's buildings.

You can also offer your patrons remote access to Credo Reference, so they can access it from home, the office, on- or off-campus. Credo Reference supports a range of authentication systems to help you offer Credo Reference access to your remote users. Which one is most appropriate depends on your institution's technical requirements.
